Make launch videos
with Claude

Connect the ASAP Motion MCP server and your AI agent becomes a video studio. Describe the video; the agent reads your site, writes the storyboard and builds a film you can still edit by hand or by chat.

Any launch video, from one message

Launch videos

Give your agent a URL. It reads the site, writes the storyboard, shows it to you and builds the film.

Workflows your agent can run

Each card is a first message. Copy it, paste it into your agent, and change the details.

  • Launch video

Your website becomes a launch film.

The agent reads the site, sets the brand and story, plans the beats and builds the film after you approve the storyboard.

    start_launch, build_storyboard, create_video

  • Recreate a reference

A video you like, rebuilt as your own.

Upload a reference. The agent studies it frame by frame, builds your version and compares the two side by side.

    upload_reference, analyze_reference, compare_to_reference

  • Release notes

Something ships, a video about it follows.

In Claude Code or Codex, the agent reads what changed in your repo and turns it into a short feature film.

    build_storyboard, create_video, export_video

  • Polish pass

A second look at every scene.

The agent renders frames, reviews the motion, fixes what feels rushed or clipped and shows you what changed.

    render_stills, review_motion, edit_elements

  • Voiceover

    Narration, timed to the scenes.

The agent writes the lines, generates a voiceover for each scene and mixes the music under it.

    narrate_film, mix_audio

  • New formats

    One story, every aspect ratio.

The agent builds a portrait or square version as a new project, for Reels, Shorts or a feed post.

    create_project, write_files, export_video

  • Share for review

A link your team can watch.

When the film is ready, the agent creates a share link with a preview, so feedback starts in minutes.

    share_project, update_share

What makes the ASAP Motion MCP different?

  • Your agent writes, ASAP Motion builds

Your agent's own model plans the story and writes every line. ASAP Motion's tools build, check and render the film, so there is no second AI to argue with.

  • It looks at its own work

Frames as images, what is on screen as data and motion findings, so the agent can see a clipped headline and fix it before you do.

  • A project, not a file

Everything lands in your account as a normal project. Open it while the agent works, change anything by hand, and undo any step.

  • Same plan, same exports

Exports use your plan as in the web app: MP4 up to 4K at 60 fps on Pro and Studio.

From one message to an MP4

The same flow as the Launch video card in the app, split into tools so the agent can stop, show you, and go back to any stage. Your agent does the thinking; ASAP Motion builds, checks and renders.

  1. 1
    start_launch

Reads your website and pre-fills the brand and story from its own words.

  2. 2
    update_launch

Your agent looks at the captured pages and sets the brief, brand and story.

  3. 3
    build_storyboard

The agent plans the beats; ASAP Motion picks scenes that fit, and the agent writes every line.

  4. 4
    create_video

Builds the film as a new project in your account and returns a job id.

  5. 5
    get_job

Waits on the job and reports progress until the project is ready.

  6. 6
    edit_elements

Fixes what is off after looking at frames: a headline, a screen, a timing.

  7. 7
    export_video

Renders the MP4 through your plan and returns download links.

What you are connecting

The ASAP Motion MCP server lets AI agents such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex and Claude Code make and edit ASAP Motion videos. Add https://studio.asapmotion.co/mcp as a remote MCP server, sign in with your ASAP Motion account, and ask for a launch video: your agent reads your site, writes the storyboard, builds the film in your account and exports an MP4. Available on Pro and Studio.

Questions about the MCP server

What is the ASAP Motion MCP server?

A remote Model Context Protocol server at https://studio.asapmotion.co/mcp. It lets an AI agent such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex or Claude Code create, edit and export ASAP Motion videos in your account, with the same projects you see in the web app.

Which plans include the MCP server?

Pro and Studio. Connecting signs in with your ASAP Motion account, and exports use your plan's limits and credits as they do in the web app.

Can I edit a video my agent made?

Yes. Everything the agent builds is a normal ASAP Motion project. Open it in the browser to change any text, screen, color or timing, and the editor shows the agent’s changes while it works.

How does my agent know when a long task is done?

Building a film, checking it and exporting run as jobs. The tool returns a job id, and the agent calls get_job, which can wait for progress, until the result is ready. Export jobs return download links.

Does ASAP Motion use its own AI to write the video?

No. With the connector, your agent's model plans the story and writes every line; ASAP Motion's tools build, check and render the film. Spoken voiceovers and generated images are the exception, since a chat model cannot produce them.

What if the agent changes something I did not want?

Ask it to undo: the connector reads the same history as the editor and can step back one change. Writes are also guarded, so a change you made in the editor while the agent worked is reported to the agent instead of overwritten.

Can my agent use my own screenshots and footage?

Yes. The agent can bring in images and video from a public link, or give you a page to drop files on. Uploads count toward your plan’s storage.
